As a Telephone Negotiator, you will talk directly to customers taking inbound and making outbound calls negotiating outstanding payments and reaching repayment agreements on their debts and also deal with any queries and disputes they may have.
Once you have negotiated an arrangement with the customer you will update the in-house system and action the customers account accordingly.
The company is situated close to the G-MEX and is operational between 8.00am : 8.30pm Monday to Saturday and you will be required to work the following rotating shift pattern
Earlies 8.00am-1.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am-4.00pm on Saturday Normal 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday Lates 12.30pm-8.30pm Monday to Friday
You will be required to work towards a monthly collections target, you will be given on-going support and training but we do expect you to be self-motivated and enjoy working towards and more than achievable target. On joining you?ll be given a five month probationary period to achieve the requirements of the position. You will be supported every step of the way, initially by the Training Team which will take you through your induction training and then by our team of friendly and experienced Team Managers who will coach you and give you advice on how to achieve your potential.
In return we expect your commitment from day one, that you will interact when training, take ownership of your development and that you pledge to have an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
The Requirements Collections experience is essential along with good keyboard skills and you will need to be a natural in terms of talking and listening to people with the ?life experience? needed to empathise with a variety of customers. You must be determined and target-focused with the ability to think on your feet and be able to adapt to different situations and talk to people at length, devising realistic solutions to real problems.
Salary, Bonus & Benefits Starting salary ranges from £12,250 to £16,000.
In addition you will participate in the monthly UNCAPPED bonus scheme in which you will receive a bonus for hitting your collection target.
